I love this stuff...German abstract and semi abstract ceramics from the 1920s and 30s...know generically as Spritzdekor ('Spray decor'). Nothing like this was made after 1933 when Hitler came to power. Totalitarian regimes general don't like the abstract in art and design. I have a couple of good pieces got from Berlin (which, for the benefit of our US of A readers, is a little town in Germany, Europe) flea markets and via German Ebay.
